Jesse Diestro is
the founder of the Sikaran-Arnis International in Australia.
He is also the Australian
Director of the World Sikaran Brotherhood of the Philippines.
He started training the art of self defense at a very young
age. Since then, he mastered the art, won several awards
and is now acknowledged as one of the best in this field.
Through his Sikaran school in Campsie, he is helping the
Sikaran-Arnis Brotherhood spread the knowledge of Sikaran
and Arnis in Australia.
Jesse Diestro used to compete in kata, weapons, point sparring,
continuous sparring. Through the years his achievements
are:
1967/1969 ABAP Champion
1972 attained Black Belt
1973-1979 defended and
held titles for "Metro-Manila"
1974-1976 represented the
army in Junior Lightweight Championship - gained title of
"Metro-Manila" and Full Contact Karate Champion
1978-1985
undefeated Metro Manila Full Contact Champion
1996 Grand Champion in
Sparring
1999 attained 8th Degree
Black Belt
1999 Grand Champion in
Sparring - World Championship
2000-2002 Hall of Fame
